Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Last updated: June 23, 2026
Plain English: Auttiv does not sell your personal information for money. To be safe under California law, we still let you opt out of any "sharing" and exercise your privacy rights — just email privacy@auttiv.com. This page supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. We do not sell your data

Auttiv does not sell your personal information in exchange for money, and we do not rent your phone number or email. We earn from seller subscriptions, not from selling user data.

2. What "sharing" can apply (and how to opt out)

Under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), "sharing" and "sale" are defined broadly and can include disclosures for cross-context behavioral advertising even when no money changes hands. For transparency, the disclosures that could fall under these definitions at Auttiv are:

  • Leads you request: when you choose to contact a dealer or submit an offer/lead, we pass your details to that dealer so they can respond. This is at your direction.
  • Attribution cookies: if you arrive via a creator's referral link, a cookie lets us attribute that visit.

You may opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. To opt out, email privacy@auttiv.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share," or adjust your cookie/consent choices in the on-site banner. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals (such as Global Privacy Control) where applicable.

3. Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know / access the personal information we have collected about you and how we use it;
  • Delete personal information we hold about you (subject to legal exceptions);
  • Correct inaccurate personal information;
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information;
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information; and
  • Non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

4. How to exercise your rights

Email privacy@auttiv.com with the request and the email or account associated with your data. We will verify your identity (to protect your information) and respond within the timeframe required by law (generally 45 days, extendable once when reasonably necessary). You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.

5. Notice at collection

We collect the categories of personal information described in our Privacy Policy (such as identifiers, contact details, and usage data) for the purposes stated there — operating the marketplace, connecting buyers and sellers at your request, security, and improving the service. We retain it as described in that policy.

6. Other states

Residents of other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws (for example, Texas, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah) may have similar rights to access, delete, correct, and opt out. Use the same contact below and we will honor applicable rights.
